| Short overview of the topic: | The workshop aims at bringing together, in a friendly and scientifically fruitful environment, researchers working in Operator Theory, Complex Analysis and their applications to Physics and Engineering. It will consist of some mini-courses as well as invited and contributed talks. Two mini-courses will be given by Jonathan Partington (University of Leeds) and Isabelle Chalendar (University of Lyon). A third mini-course is still to be confirmed. |
| Additional remarks: | This workshop is intended to be a follow-up of a previous one organized in 2010 (http://workshoperatortheory.squarespace.com/). It will be supported by the project "Toeplitz operators and Riemann-Hilbert problems: at the crossroad of Operator Theory and Complex Analysis", recently approved by the Portuguese Science Foundation FCT (http://www.fct.pt/) and by the Center for Mathematical Analysis, Geometry, and Dynamical Systems (http://camgsd.ist.utl.pt/). |
